GRANITE
This very hard natural stone is composed of quartz, feldspar and mica crystals. It provides a very elegant effect and is available in several colours. Granite slabs come in a wide variety of patterns, making them a practical choice. We recommend installing granite counters with a sealant.
QUARTZ
Unlike granite, quartz is not a natural material: it is a combination of minerals mixed with dyes and resin. Its non-porous surface makes it more hygienic and—when it is of high quality—stain resistant. In short, this material is easy to maintain, hygienic and durable.
CORIAN®
Corian® is a blend of alumina trihydrate and is composed of one part acrylic resin and two parts bauxite. Like wood, Corian® is easy to work with: it can be cut, melted, glued and more. It has no apparent joints and is non-porous, which prevents bacteria from infiltrating the surface and makes it very hygienic.
WOOD
Wooden countertops are ideal for creating a warm atmosphere. If you’re looking for durability, the hardest types of wood, such as teak, beech and oak, are your best bet. Your wood counters may require regular maintenance depending on the finish you choose.
PORCELAIN
Porcelain is highly heat resistant, making it a choice material for your kitchen or bathroom countertop. It is available in a matte or glossy finish, is resistant to stains and UV rays, and is made of 100 % natural—and recyclable—materials.
MARBLE
For a luxurious, timeless look, why not opt for a safe bet like marble? This material is available in several colours and patterns and is an ideal surface for rolling dough. Marble is more porous than granite and requires a protective sealant and special care.
STAINLESS STEEL
Stainless-steel countertops can come in textured, matte, satin or polished finishes. They are ideal for work areas that will come into contact with water since they are waterproof. Stainless steel is heat resistant, hygienic, durable and easy to clean.
